Peter Pan, Greyhound launch new Baltimore/NYC routes

Beginning May 10, Peter Pan Bus Lines and Greyhound will offer eight express round trips a day between Baltimore and New York, with fares starting at $1. According to the Baltimore Business Journal, the move by both bus companies will allow them to compete with popular bus lines like Megabus and Bolt Bus. Greyhound and Peter Pan already partner for discount bus service with its Bolt Bus from Washington, D.C. to New York. The new Express provides non-stop, direct service with a guaranteed seat for every customer. For more, visit www.bizjournals.com/baltimore.

So now Greyhound/Peter Pan are competing with themselves again after setting up Bolt (self-competition) to compete with Mega, et. al on the same services?
