Metro bus driver killed in Houston crash

The driver of a Houston METRO articulated bus was killed Thursday morning in a crash on Houston’s 288 South Freeway. KRIV-Fox News reports the bus hit a concrete pillar holding up a railroad bridge and split in two pieces. A Metro spokesperson said the driver was returning to the bus barn at the end of his shift when he lost control. There were no passengers on the bus.
