Lawmaker pays tribute to ABA anniversary

The American Bus Association was on the receiving end last week of a tribute by Massachusetts Democratic Representative John Olver. In a speech on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives last Thursday, Olver congratulated the ABA on its 85th anniversary. Olver sits on the powerful Appropriations Committee and is the ranking member of the Transportation and Housing and Urban Development Subcommittee.

In a release, ABA President and CEO Peter Pantuso thanked Olver for his tribute, adding that the ABA “appreciates his friendship and his support of the motorcoach, tour and travel industry.” The American Bus Association is the trade organization of the intercity bus industry with more than 1,000 motorcoach owner and tour company members in the U.S. and Canada.
