Greyhound hiring 400 new drivers

If you are a licensed driver, Greyhound wants you. The largest provider of intercity bus transportation has put out a call to fill more than 400 motorcoach operator positions throughout North America. Drivers must be at least 22 years old, have a valid driver’s license, a minimum of three years of driving experience – commercial or private – good character skills and an excellent driving record. Greyhound will provide paid training and benefits. People can apply online at www.greyhound.com/en/drivingcareers.aspx.

“At Greyhound, our employees take pride in transporting passengers safely throughout North America,” says Victor Charles, manager of Greyhound training and development. “Their commitment to safe operation is respected throughout the industry.”

I submitted my application last Thursday 4/19/12. Waiting to hear back. I think this is the job career for me. I have an excellent driving record. Only one speeding ticket in my life and that was in 1996. Haven’t had one since. No accidents that were my fault. I really want to do this.
