90 Nova buses headed to New York

Ninety 40-foot Nova LFS vehicles are headed to New York to become a part of MTA New York City Transit. The vehicles will be constructed at Nova’s Plattsburgh, New York location and delivered in the first half of 2011. Nova Bus will provide three configurations. Various cooling and transmission technologies will be tested on the job.

New York Senator Charles Schumer said: “A contract is a win-win situation because not only does it benefit New Yorkers downstate who get to ride these Nova buses, but more importantly this creates good-paying jobs right here in the Plattsburgh.” For more, visit www.novabus.com.
