Tucson school district OK bus cameras

In a move to reduce unruly behavior on school buses, on Tuesday the Tucson Unified School District gave the green light for the installation of video cameras in their vehicles. At a cost of $625,000, the district expects about 300 cameras to decrease the number of student fights, negative behavior and vandalism on buses. According to the Arizona Star, video footage will be reviewed only when there is an incident or concern from a teacher, driver or parent. For more, visit www.azstarnet.com.
