In an effort to save $300,000, the Utah Transit Authority may soon cut more Top of Utah bus services by eliminating or cutting weekend service on six routes in three counties. According to the Standard-Examiner, some of the routes that could be slashed include connections from downtown Ogden and Weber State University to Salt Lake City and the University of Utah. A number of the routes proposed to be cut would eliminate all Saturday service and partial Sunday service. The areas affected would be Weber, Davis and Box Elder counties.
