Pittsburgh bus driver charged with assaulting drunk passenger

A Pittsburgh Port Authority bus driver has been charged with assaulting an intoxicated passenger, and then making a false report to police. According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, 47-year-old Anthony DiDolce of Coraopolis is on leave with pay after being accused of punching and kicking an intoxicated passenger, identified in the Post-Gazette as James Donahue. DiDolce has been charged with aggravated assault, unlawful restraint, harassment and making a false report to police. The alleged incident occurred November 5 on the 54C North Side-Oakland-South Side bus in Allegheny Center. DiDolce claims Donahue charged at him when he went to awaken him.
