NTSB launches investigators to fatal Texas bus accident

The National Transportation Safety Board announced that it has sent two investigators from its Texas regional office to gather information regarding yesterday morning’s deadly bus crash in Irving, Texas.

Improving the safety of bus operation has been on the NTSB’s Most Wanted List since November 2012. The agency continues to emphasize the need for improvements in operator safety standards, occupant protection and regulatory oversight.

Any additional information regarding the investigation will be released as it becomes available.
