Megabus expanding Washington, DC service

Beginning December 15, Megabus.com is expanding service from the nation’s capital to a number of cities. The first intercity express bus service with fares from $1 begins service to Boston, Buffalo, NY, Charlotte and Raleigh/Durham, NC, Hampton and Richmond, VA, Harrisburg and Pittsburgh, PA, Knoxville, TN, and Toronto. With the additional cities, Megabus will serve 13 cities from its Washington, DC hub. Customers can begin booking trips immediately by logging onto www.megabus.com. Megabus is a subsidiary of Coach USA and was launched in April 2006. Since then, Megabus has served more than seven million passengers.
