More North American commercial fleet vehicles will soon feature patented JTG propane liquid-injection fuel systems. Jasper, Indiana-based Jasper Alternative Fuels and Icom North America, based in New Hudson, Michigan, have inked a deal to install Icom’s JTG fuel system in 5,000 commercial vehicles within the next three years. The fuel system can be installed on virtually any gasoline vehicle with multi-point injection to improve fuel economy, drivability and lower emissions. More than 5,000 vehicles in the U.S. use a version of Icom’s “mono-fuel” system. Icom North America is a developer of liquid-propane gas-conversion systems for commercial vehicles.
