International Trailways, Birmingham, AL, changed its company name to Vectour Group, LLC, effective Dec. 31, 2011.
In a press release, Vectour Group said the company would continue to target not only large events in sports, entertainment and commercial events, but will also be focusing on long term contracts providing transportation services to cities, municipalities, federal and state government entities, schools and colleges.
“This company has always been about more than just buses, and this name change is reflecting this fact regarding the high quality of services we offer and can provide at a competitive price,” says Reggie Haslam, Sr, CEO of the newly-named Vectour Group. “Our service capabilities include the design and management of transportation systems, including route planning, demand modeling, scheduling and load zone operations. We also offer venue transportation management, including ingress and egress routing, venue access planning, and signage. This is in addition to bus operations management which we have become well known for already.”
Vectour Group will continue a relationship with the Trailways network and its Department of Defense (DOD) certified fleet of motorcoaches for equipment needs, as well as other highly respected motor coach companies around the nation that maintain exacting standards of fleet quality and maintenance. Vectour Group will also continue to pursue business opportunities across the nation, and around the globe.
