International Conference on Commercial Driver Health and Wellness set for November 8-10

The International Conference on Commercial Driver Health and Wellness will be held November 8-10 at the Sheraton Inner Harbor hotel in Baltimore, MD. The conference is in conjunction with the Transportation Research Board, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and the U.S. Department of Transportation. The event’s focus is the safety and wellness of commercial drivers. The conference includes a number of keynote speakers and discussion panels that will touch on research and practices of occupational health. The program is divided into three sections. Part One will focus on health factors commercial drivers experience; Part Two will cover issues employers face when creating health and wellness programs for employees; and Part Three will feature information on the return on investment of driver wellness programs.
