Indian Trails driver named Operator of the Year

A motorcoach operator for Kalamazoo, MI-based Indian Trails has won the title of Motor Coach Operator of the Year. Luis Garcia was given the honor by the Guild of Professional Tour Guides at the Guild’s annual meeting in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 11. The Guild’s more than 400 members nominate outstanding individuals for the award, and then select one operator who shines above the others.

It’s estimated that during a 15-year span, Garcia operated some 450 tours in the nation’s capitol. For the first time the Guild presented the top honors to a second driver from the same company. In 1999, Indian Trails’ driver Pam Kay received the honor. For more, visit www.indiantrails.com.
