San Francisco-based Gannett Fleming is now providing program management support for the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority’s bus rapid transit line. LAVTA connects the California towns of Livermore, Pleasanton and Dublin. Since 2008, Gannett Fleming has reviewed designs for LAVTA’s recently completed construction and improvements on 49 bus stop locations. The agency uses 14 hybrid-electric vehicles for unlimited-stop service on a 14-mile route that connects with the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District at the Dublin/Pleasanton Station.
