The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce today announced that First Transit, Cincinnati, OH, a provider of ADA paratransit, fixed-route, transit call centers and university shuttle systems, has joined the Chamber’s Chairman’s Circle, a diverse cross section of leading businesses in South Florida committed to the betterment of the business community.
Matt Wood, senior vice president for First Transit, will lead the company’s regional Miami operations. Wood recently relocated to the Miami area to assist the community and Chamber in their transportation needs and was recently appointed to the Chamber’s Transportation Committee.
“I am excited about the many mass transit opportunities in greater Miami,” says Wood “First Transit is eager to begin working with the Chamber and the community in improving transportation access for the residents of Miami.”
