Cincinnati, OH-based First Transit, Inc. has contracted with the Durham Area Transit Authority (DATA) to manage fixed-route operations. The new agreement, which goes into effect October 1, continues First Transit’s 14-year partnership with the City of Durham. DATA operates 72 transit vehicles that transport nearly five million passengers annually. First Transit also manages Durham’s paratransit service of 54 vehicles. For more, visit data.durhamnc.gov.
