Endangered species highlighted on SF buses

San Francisco residents are getting a reminder of endangered species every morning while using public transportation. Four Muni buses feature full vehicle wraps showing endangered species that are local to the San Francisco Bay Area. According to the San Francisco Examiner, artist Todd Gilens designed the wraps for the city’s ongoing Transit Effectiveness Project. Gilens chose four of the nearly 270 endangered species from the Bay Area: the Brown Pelican, Colo Salmon, Mission Blue Butterfly and the March Harvest Mouse. The wraps will grace Muni buses through April. For more, visit www. follywog.net.
