Coach USA, Paramus, NJ, announced Monday that it has finished a deal to buy nine Coach America Inc. companies.
CNBC reports that the purchase includes Kerrville Bus Company, Austin, TX; All West Coachlines, Dallas, TX; American Coach Line, Atlanta, GA; Coach America of Elko in Nevada; Coach America of Gillette in Wyoming; Dillon’s Bus Service, Washington, D.C.; Southern California Grayline, Anaheim, CA; Lakefront Line Inc., Brook Park, OH; and Raz Transportation, Portland, OR.
Coach America, along with all of its subsidiary companies, filed for bankruptcy in January.
Coach USA now owns 30 companies in North America, including megabus.com. It’s combined fleet includes more than 2,500 buses running charter tours and commuter services.
