An Alpharetta, GA-based company has a device called Click ‘N’ Drive that prevents a bus driver from shifting into gear unless the driver’s seat belt is buckled. The device by TST Distributors is a one-inch tube that connects to a sensor and can be installed within an hour. The sensor detects when the seat belt is not in use and works in conjunction with a low-voltage circuit in the bus.
