Roberts Hawaii expansion continues

Roberts Hawaii, the Aloha State’s largest tour and transportation company, has added 25 Champion Challenger shuttle buses to its fleet of nearly 900 vehicles. Earlier this year the Oahu-based tour company added 20 new Prevost touring motorcoaches to handle services on the four islands of Hawaii, Kauai, Maui and Oahu.

The new shuttle buses are expected to be wrapped in Roberts Hawaii’s new branding design, unveiled earlier this year, and out on island streets this month. Depending upon the model and configuration, each shuttle can carry from 14 to 25 passengers.

“Our customers always like to have the newest in safety and comfort, but increasingly, they also want earth-friendly features and more flexibility,” said Percy Higashi, president and COO of Roberts Hawaii. “Continually refreshing our fleet lets us take advantage of the latest features available, things like three-point seatbelts, electronic stability control, environmentally advanced engines, ergonomic seats and flat screen TVs. Having more mini-buses gives us the flexibility to move more, smaller groups of customers – even if it’s just a couple – faster and more efficiently.”
