Prevost Opens New State-of-the-Art Service Center in Elk Grove Village

Prevost is opening a new service center in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, expanding service capacity and improving convenience for customers in the greater Chicago area. The new facility is located just five miles from the company’s previous location and offers significantly more space, enhanced amenities, and expanded service capabilities.

Strategically located near O’Hare International Airport and major expressways, the new center is positioned for easy access for customers and technicians alike. It is also conveniently near other sites that see high coach traffic, including area universities and the Rosemont Convention Center.

The new site increases total facility space from 9,000 square feet to approximately 29,000 square feet, including a dramatic expansion of parts storage from 800 square feet to just under 15,000 square feet. Service capacity will also increase from three service bays to five, providing faster turnaround and improved customer support.

“This new location represents a major step forward in our ability to serve customers,” said Wolfgang Robert, senior director of Prevost’s service network. “With more space, more capacity, and a location designed around customer convenience, we are well-positioned to deliver the high level of service Prevost customers expect.”

The new service center is designed to include amenities not available at the previous location, such as a customer lounge and leased parking for 60 vehicles. The facility is built to a state-of-the-art standard and includes a fence around the property to enhance safety and security.

The site will also be supported by 10 mobile service vans and a 24-hour technician on hand, seven days a week, further strengthening Prevost’s service response and field support capabilities. Extended hours are planned and will be announced at a later date.

The project represents a capital investment of $1.8 million USD. This reflects Prevost’s commitment to expanding its brick and mortar and mobile services in 2026 and 2027.
