Manhattan’s M42 cross-town bus has repeated its dubious distinction of being the slowest bus in New York City. According to the New York Post, the M42 creeps along at a pitiful 3.6 miles per hour, a bit slower than last year’s 3.7 miles per hour. At such a lazy pace, walking is actually faster. The figures are compiled and awards giving out by the Straphangers Campaign. Ironically, an ad on the front of the bus touts a mattress company called Sleepys. For more, visit www.nypost.com.
