Nova articulated buses headed to MTA NYC Transit

MTA New York City Transit has secured an order for 328 articulated buses from Nova Bus. The 62-foot vehicles will be assembled at the company’s Upstate New York plant. The current order follows the introduction of a 90-vehicle test fleet in 2009-2010. The buses are set to be delivered from August 2011 to April 2013.

“Nova Bus is proud to continue its partnership with MTA New York City Transit,” said Nova Bus President and CEO Gilles Dion. “Since 2009, our teams have worked in close collaboration to customize our product to address the unique operational needs of New York City.”
