New York State prison bus crash injures 3

A bus carrying 16 inmates from a court appearance in New York City to a medium-security prison overturned on the New York State Thruway Wednesday in Rockland County near the town of Ramapo. There were also three New York State Department of Corrections officers on the bus at the time. According to the Huffington Post, at least three victims were seen being placed into ambulances. All prisoners were taken from the bus and were seen handcuffed by the side of the roadway. Early reports say the bus was cut off by a vehicle, causing the bus to flip on its side.
