National Express acquires contracts from Forsythe Transportation

National Express Transit Services Corporation, Cincinnati, OH, has acquired the public transit operations contracts from Forsythe Transportation and has retained all of Forsythe’s key management and executive team members. These contracts and staff have been added to National Express’ growing public transit contracting division. The contracts acquired include industry award-winning fixed-route transit contracts for the Arlington County (Virginia) and the Westmoreland County Transit Authority (Pennsylvania).

Joining forces with National Express Transit’s existing management team are four transit-industry veterans: William Forsythe, Mark Foster, Tom Greufe (Safety & Risk Management), and Gregg Harrington (Maintenance).

“National Express is so pleased to welcome Arlington County as our newest customer, and to add Westmoreland County’s fixed-route services to our existing partnership,” said Pete Settle, chief executive officer. “We are also excited about expanding our talent and experience by adding Bill, Mark, Tom and Gregg to our growing transit team. The addition of their fixed-route transit expertise will provide benefits for all of our clients and further accelerate our strategic growth in the marketplace.”
