On Monday, Florida Department of Transportation Secretary Stephanie Kopelousos joins the U.S. House Transportation Committee’s staff as a senior advisor. Kopelousos was the Florida Department of Transportation’s Secretary, where for four years she served with Governor Crist. She will be responsible for coordinating with state and local officials around the country to eliminate unnecessary government bureaucracy, streamlining programs and overseeing the building of the nation’s infrastructure.
