Fuhgettaboudit! Brooklyn pizza bus tour a hot ticket

Tripadvisor, a travel destination website, has named “A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour” the number one bus tour of the New York Borough.

Snooty Manhattan? Fuhgettaboudit!

Brooklynite Tony Muia, who owns A Slice of Brooklyn Bus Tours, started the nearly five-hour pizza tour in 2005. Since then, the tour has been featured on NBC’s Today Show, The Travel Channel and The Food Network, as well as in the New York Times and Frommer’s NYC Guide. The tour cost $75, but includes two slices of pizza and drinks at two of Brooklyn’s most famous pizzerias; Grimaldi’s under the Brooklyn Bridge and L&B Spumoni Gardens in the Bensonhurst section. The tour also includes famous Brooklyn movie locations for such movies as Saturday Night Fever, The French Connection, Scent of a Woman, Annie Hall and stops at Coney Island.
