Clark Travel opens new facility

Clark Travel, Austin, TX, opened its new nine-acre, 12,000-square-foot facility near Austin in Taylor, TX. The facility features a state-of-the-art bus wash system that’s environmentally friendly, a three-bay maintenance area, a 1,000-square-foot foyer, 10 offices and other amenities.

“The cost of the project is about $1.4 million,” said Victoria Clark, 22, now in her second year as vice president of the company. “We are bringing fuel onsite in Phase Two, as well as working with the city of Taylor to bring city sewer lines to our facility and businesses around us.”

Clark Travel Charter Service has been in business since 1982 and has locations in Austin, San Antonio and Temple. The company provides transport for the University of Texas and Baylor University, and a number of collegiate athletic teams, as well as nationwide motorcoach charters.
