Bus driver who plowed snowman resigns
An Illinois bus driver who plowed into a snowman sitting in the middle of a street has resigned after a YouTube video showed the so-called hit and run. According to the Chicago Tribune, the Champaign-Urbana city bus driver resigned after the video showed him making a direct hit on Frosty. The snowman was created by unknown individuals on the University of Illinois campus and placed in the street. The same YouTube video shows a car slowing going around the snow creation, but soon after the bus is shown mowing down the snowman and driving away. Soon after a meeting between members of the Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District, the bus driver turned in his resignation. The bus driver has not been identified.
