ABC Companies announced this month the promotion of Tim Wayland to president and chief commercial officer. Dane Cornell will continue as CEO and was appointed as chairman of the board. ABC Companies founder Clarence “Clancy” Cornell was appointed as chairman emeritus and will remain as an advisor on ABC’s Board of Directors.
As president, ABC says Wayland will be responsible for the day to day operations of the company and will continue to direct the development of corporate-wide sales plans, policies, and forecasts to meet targeted objectives in all facets of ABC sales activities.
Wayland joined the company in 1994 as president of ABC Financial Services and was named chief financial officer in 2008. He was promoted to chief commercial officer in 2011 and will continue to hold a seat on ABC Companies’ Board of Directors.
