Operators now have a new website to book group travel. The American Bus Association has partnered with the Ontario Motor Coach Association to unveil www.CharterBusConnect.com, an online site to book group travel that features no consumer fees or middlemen. The site’s database features more than 4,200 company listings and has only those operators that own bus fleets. Users can request multiple quotes from a number of charter operators. The process is streamlined because requests go straight from consumers to bus companies. The site also offers a mapping function for consumers to quickly locate companies in their area. The special ABA-OMCA rate is $99; operators can book more charter bus business for under $2 a seat.
The American Bus Association is the trade organization of the intercity bus industry with more then 1,000 motorcoach owner and tour company members in North America. The Ontario Motor Coach Association is one of the largest travel and tourism-related associations in Canada.
