$19.1M earmarked for Milwaukee Express Bus Routes…but

Milwaukee County will receive $19.1 million in federal funds for three of its Express Bus Routes, but even the new influx of money could leave some residents short on service, according to a budget proposal by a county executive.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele’s proposed transit budget cuts six Freeway Flyer routes, five school routes and other bus routes that service various festivals and Milwaukee Brewers home games.
