The new Genfare is moving in new directions

SPX Genfare, a leader in providing fare solutions to agencies of all sizes across North America, is expanding its offering while it’s streamlining its name, dropping the SPX to become simply: Genfare. “Though we’re still a part of the SPX family”, Genfare President Darren Dickson said, “we felt the time was right to refresh our brand in the marketplace—and Genfare is how the industry knows us.”

At the same time Genfare is changing its name, it’s also evolving well beyond its roots as a farebox provider. With the recent introduction of Genfare Link, the company now offers a comprehensive, fully integrated digital solutions suite to help transit operators more efficiently manage, measure and maintain fare revenue collection.

“Today’s exponential growth of digital and mobile connectivity has opened up new opportunities to make transit agency operations more efficient while enhancing the rider experience,” said Dickson. “Genfare Link enables today’s tech-savvy commuters to plan, pay and board with minimal hassle. It also provides agencies with robust reporting and data-rich analytics to stay up-to-speed on their transit fleet.”

While Genfare Link is creating greater efficiencies for the transit industry, President Dickson stressed the importance of a client centric approach surrounding our business. “We are making huge strides to improve our level of communications and service. Teamwork and communication are essential to our success. There is truly nothing more important than our customers,” said Dickson.

Genfare will have a booth and hospitality suite at the upcoming APTA Conference in San Francisco October 4-7. To learn more about what Genfare will be exhibiting at APTA, click (www.genfare.com)
