DesignLine files for bankruptcy protection

DesignLine, Charlotte, NC, filed for bankruptcy last week after several weeks of furloughs and layoffs, according to the Charlotte Observer.

FMCSA shuts down Florida-based McRea Transportation, Inc.

The FMCSA today announced that McRea Transportation, Inc. one of two unrelated bus companies that had stranded New York City-bound passengers in Virginia following a mechanical breakdown last month, has been declared an imminent hazard.
