The driver of a Houston METRO articulated bus was killed Thursday morning in a crash on Houston’s 288 South Freeway. KRIV-Fox News reports the bus hit a concrete pillar holding up a railroad bridge and split in two pieces. A Metro spokesperson said the driver was returning to the bus barn at the end of his shift when he lost control. There were no passengers on the bus. KRIV reports that the bus apparently made contact with a dump truck during the crash. The accident is still being investigated. For more, visit www.myfoxhouston.com.
