New safety seating available for Thomas Built buses

Westfield, Indiana-based IMMI now has a new brand of SafeGuard XChange seating for Thomas Built school buses. The new seating will allow school districts to standard seating now and then exchange seating modules to add or configure seat belts at a later date, as school and state regulations dictate. XChange seating is currently in the final stages of compliance testing and will soon be available for order on Thomas buses, with delivery this fall.

Ken Hedgecock, Thomas Built’s vice president of sales, marketing and service said, “Whether you’re a school transportation director who expects a future local demand for belted seating, or you are a contractor anticipating the need to relocate buses, you need meaningful seating options that work now, as well as ten years from now.” For more, visit www.imminet.com.
