MCI to unveil modernized Greyhound at BusCon
Attendees at this week’s BusCon show in Chicago will get an up-close view of Greyhound’s new MCI-model D4505. Modernized by Motor Coach Industries, Schaumburg, IL, the new vehicles feature WiFi, plush leather seats, electrical outlets and wheelchair accessible. Greyhound has taken delivery of 70 MCI D4505s. MCI and Greyhound have had relationship since the 1960s, when Greyhound began purchasing the MC-5 model for its western routes. MCI President Tom Sorrells says the Greyhound upgrades are proof of the versatility that the D4505 offers the company, and shows Greyhound’s commitment to passenger comfort.
